Texas A&M Game 2 Thread..

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Large crowd still piling in. Their lefty is really in a groove . Lots of Dawg fans up here in the right upper deck with us. JT has been pretty good Did a great job getting getting through the last inning

[TBone.sixpack]

Despite a God awful call by the ump.

[57stratdawg]

Foscue with a ground out to 2nd. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Rowdy with a fly out. 2 down.

[57stratdawg]

Skelton walks, but Halter grounds out on a nice play by the SS.

0-0 M4.

Despite a God awful call by the ump.

You might have heard me after he didn’t pull the string on that walk to the SS.

[57stratdawg]

Ginn gets a K to start the B4. Maybe a little bit of a wide zone there.

[57stratdawg]

Another K. Ginn’s offspeed stuff is dialed in today.

[57stratdawg]

Weak ground ball ends the inning.Ginn is only around 45 pitches after 4 complete.

If we can get a couple runs, we’d be in good shape.

[57stratdawg]

Good AB from Gilbert ends with a K. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Mangum lines out to CF. 2 down.

[bruiser.sixpack]

Since Gilbert has become a regular his BA has dropped precipitously. Must be his defense.

[blacklistedbully]

Incompetent. How can an ump be that bad without trying?

[57stratdawg]

Westburg frozen on a slider likely off the plate. 0-0 Mid 5.

[anon1787432961]

Ump giving the home team 3 inches off the outside of the plate. He must be proud.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

If you want to know why our guys keep getting called strike three looking so much this SOB can’t decide what a 17ing strike is on the edge of the plate. I have a really good view of the plate up here. Now he is squeezing JT.

[1msucub]

I have no idea how these players know what to swing at or take. This guy’s zone is sadly inconsistent.
For both teams.
Again.

[57stratdawg]

Lead off grounder. 1 down.

This Ump’s zone is all over the place.

[57stratdawg]

Fly ball to RF. 2 down. I thought that ball was gone off the bat.

[57stratdawg]

Ginn screwed on another 0-2 call, but gets the K.

1 run might win this game.

[TBone.sixpack]

This guy is a 17n joke. There should be some accountability for missing obvious calls.

[blacklistedbully]

I can't recall seeing a worse performance by an ump. Seen some really bad ones, but have never seen one call so many balls on strikes right down the middle.

[57stratdawg]

Lead off single from Allen. Nice adjustment after 2 Ks.

Bunt here?

[Willow Grove Dawg]

This dude behind the plate has no clue with his strike zone

Thank God JT’s curveball is nasty today.

Blue is just way too inconsistent on the black part of the plate.

[Xenomorph]

The tv guys were laughing at how bad the calls were on the last batter of the 5th.

[57stratdawg]

No bunt, Mac K’s. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Foscue hits into a double play. Probably should have bunted Mac there.

0-0 Mid 6.

[FallAmericanDawg]

Mac’s hitting .042 in his last 7 games and we let him swing away there. Makes no sense

[TBone.sixpack]

I hadn’t realized how bad his slump was, ouch.

[57stratdawg]

Ginn K’s the first batter on 3 straight sliders. 1 down.

[DAWGS1.sixpack]

Yep, gotta bunt him over but if he can get it going this last month and half and we’re a really tough out.

[57stratdawg]

Ginn pitches around Shoemake. 1 on, 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Line out to CF. 2 down.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

171717!!!!

[57stratdawg]

RBI double. 1-0 Texas AM.

Foscue can’t handle the short hop relay in.

[Willow Grove Dawg]

Did either Skelton or Gilbert have a play on the foul ball?

[TBone.sixpack]

Yep. Not good.

[57stratdawg]

Ground out ends it. 1-0 headed to T7.

[Willow Grove Dawg]

Gotta have a 7th inning rally from the bottom or the order
