I have played enough football and watched enough football to know when I see 2 QBs really struggling due to many factors. Is it due to the defenses? Some... Is it missed assignments and routes? Some... Is it dropped balls and bad play calls while not recognizing to audible out of those calls into better calls ... Some ... Is it just great defense? Nope not in my opinion. You are seeing 2 QBs really struggling in their first big games
Again, we'll revisit this in November and see if you think the defenses were the primary factor
Well look here.... TX doing what I said they are running the ball where they had early success and taking the pressure of Manning. So far OSU defense doesn't look nearly as good this half do they
They needed 15 plays to pick up 70 yards and didn't score. I don't know what's happening but I'd wager you incorrectly attacked Allar for his performance against Ohio State last year.

Manning was hyped up a bit prematurely if you ask me. He looks horrible.
Against Ohio State in the opener--I mean, I think people are overreacting to this.
There isn't a QB alive that hasn't played awful at some point. We'll see how he develops over the season.
This is a flashback to last year and our fans bashing Allar when he didn't have any WRs against an elite defense

To those who do not believe that Texas has a legit defense. See what other defense on OSU's schedule is going to keep Jeremiah Smith's stats at 8 receptions for only 33 yards late in the game. Not even our defense is going to keep Smith at 4 yards per catch for almost a whole game.

I have no idea what you mean by that so have another beer and enjoy your weekend ...

This pick will be overturned, but that was another bad pass

I think both Ds are pretty good and ahead of the offenses. Both teams appear to have come into the game planning to play things conservatively in an effort to not to do anything to lose the game. They’ll be much more dynamic on offense later in the season.

It was a forced mistake though
He was under immediate pressure and Ohio State is playing tight man--it's not like he had a clean pocket and just missed/forced a throw
The defense gets a ton of credit here--Manning's not playing well but there's reasons for it.

Do the board a favor and go away.

3rd and 3 and you change both plays to low percentage touch passes with no touch.

Built for these moments.

Bad throw by Manning. Also had a guy slanting across the middle, but he was never looking at him.

Klatt is so f'ing awful, it isn't even funny. First he claims Igbanosa "recovered and broke the pass up"...., but replay clearly shows heavy EARLY contact by Ignanosa well before ball gets there.... then Klatt changes his tune to the play not being PI because ball was too far in front of receiver. He's such a full-of-**** joker, it isn't even funny.
