Let’s be bigger than that. He made his choice and we have our football coach. Being bitter sounds petty. I choose to ignore until we meet on the court or playing field, otherwise they’re just another school.

Nah. I ain't mad at Brohm (I assume that's what inspired this post, but correct me if I'm wrong). I neither root for or against Purdue (just like before "all of this"), I just don't care that much. I don't like Texas though, so I wish Purdue had beaten them.

I could care less about Purdue. No disrespect, but they are very rarely relevant in major sports across the board....speaking of basketball and football.

Well, I think they are about to become very relevant with JB at the helm. Good for them, I guess. I don't know if they will become $6MM/year, Dabo Swinney-relevant, but relevant nonetheless.

Kind of like Lamar with the Ravens, I don't feel compelled to "root for" them in their current gigs. They did great as Cardinals and have moved on and have become multimillionaires with a national stature. They don't need me to root for them and they are doing just fine without me and vice versa.

This isn’t about Brohm, it’s about their ******* fans that were here. F Brohm

I wouldn't base my opinion about a program on internet message board posters. Seriously dude. I like reading your posts but IMO you're taking what people say on the internet too personally. Plenty of Louisville fans were jackasses on their boards too. It's the internet, people act like jackasses because there's a screen and a keyboard as a filter in a face to face confrontation.

To that point, I dont get going to Purdue's board anyways. UK's can half way see it, but Purdue??? Even with what was going on, at the end of the day, they are barely relevant and even as someone stated above, they will improve over the next year or two, but I will bet 500 to anyone's 100 that JB wont be the head coach to start the 2021 season. 2 more years and he gone.....this whole thing "could" be a blessing!

I went to Purdue's board during the Jeff Brohm Wars (LOL), to get their take and I engaged in some discussion. It's interesting to me to get different takes, instead of insulating myself with the recycled/repeated opinions we read on our side. I'll read the boards of opponents leading up to a game, I think it's interesting.

I can see that....I guess reading and posting is what I should have said. There were about 5 idiot Purdue fans posting idiotic stuff on here and I'm like, WHY?? I can see your point if there is actual conversation. More than half the posts on UL's ends up in a debate about financials and Tyra vs Jurich, which I am so over!

The night it was announced that Brohm was staying at Purdue, about 60 to 70 of their fans flooded over to our board to troll and talk crap. Never seen anything like it.

Big deal. We probably would have a lot of our fans doing the same or have to read KR say I told you so...

Never said there wouldn't have been. I don't really read other teams boards and have never trolled them. And I never got into this whole Purdue back and forth recently either.

Btw I wasn't condoning anything just stating a fact that happened.

Agree with this... and I plan to do even more, since I live in Indiana. I will hope for the best for Purdue and Coach Brohm, and I will continue to enjoy watching his team each year. I have a lot of good friends who are Purdue grads.

Checked out their football schedule for next year, I’ll predict there’s another 6-6 on their horizon. Hell, Minnesota kicked their butt this season and had 55 freshman dressing and 11 of them were starting by the time they walloped Wisconsin on the road.

What’s funny about that is in this area the average fan doesn’t consider P.J. Fleck a hot coach, but they think Brohm is.

I give Purdue a mulligan on the Minnesota loss - I think the coach rumors were in everyone's head on the Purdue side, which I totally get.
