Texas got hosed by the refs in OT

Reminded me of our first game with KY....Texas messed up to lose it but there were 3 big calls that went against them:

1) The foul on James early in OT that they didn't call an intentional foul on WF. The guy made zero play on the play and just nailed James in the back - looked like textbook flagrant foul to me.

2) The charge on the Texas PG....replay showed pretty clearly that the WF guy was still moving his feet and had not established position

3) The over the back call on James that fouled him out late. There was some slight contact but it was closer to shoulder to shoulder. I thought it was a clear no-call situation.

But in the end Texas missed 4 FT's in overtime and had a brain fart on defense by the Freshman PG leaving the WF guy open for the 3 that cut it to one.

before I feel the first twinge of sorrow for Texas.
(and the refs in the UT/SDSU game were worse).

That was a clean block by WF at the end. Could have been a travel called on that drive also. I don't think UT got the shaft at all.

There is no way I will feel bad for a big name program for receiving the same treatment we get. It's flat out ******** how badly we get it. Even on national tv the games are still officiated unfairly.

Just want to point out that there is a difference between an intentional foul and a flagrant foul.

I agree that an intentional foul should have been called. It was not flagrant, however. (Not that it mattered, since it was his fifth foul and he was disqualified, anyway.)
