Spain didn't take Texas serious until the French started moving in from Louisiana. Just different. Then it became somewhat more when Mexico won their independence and Louisiana was purchased by the United States.No one state has the history of West Virginia because the Civil War created the state. No state is like Texas because it won its own independence from Mexico after most of Mexico revolted against their government.Was its own independent country for awhile.</blockquote>
