I grew up along the Canadian border. I spent ages 19 - 21 in Niagara Falls nearly every weekend....and considerable time throughout my 20s. The moment you crossed the Rainbow Bridge drinking, gambling, and strip clubs were all available and legal, it was heaven on Earth for a 19 year old guy. We called the strip clubs, The Canadian Ballet. Back then the best strip joint in town was called Sundowners and there was a night club called Rumors on Cliffton Hill which was awesome. You'd meet women from all over the world who were vacationing and had hotel rooms across the street. I worked at a country club and would save my tip money all week, then a group 4 - 6 of us would split a hotel at the falls on weekends. I would party and gamble until about 3 AM, then wake up early on Saturday morning and drive back into America and work my shift (mens locker room bar, caddie, ect.), when work was over drive back to Canada and do it all again...then back to work early Sunday morning. I would find piles of canadian cash stuffed in gym bags or jean pockets that I won gambling or exchanged currency and had forgotten about...definitely one of the best times of my life.
