Yep, and three games in four nights. The Lakers say, "hold my beer, Big 12," as they recently went on a seven-game road trip in 12 days, which covered 7,500 miles. The last two games were in Boston and Atlanta, which made no sense at all.
I don't think it's an issue with the players being able to play the games. The argument usually comes down to taking the kids out of the classroom for an extended period of time.
With the internet and online capabilities with tudors in tow a student is never out of the classroom. They're young and can handle playing every other night.

The daughter of a friend of mine who lives in Beckley is a current WVU student. She does all of her course work on line, and only visits Morgantown because she has an apartment there, and can't get out of her lease. There is no "classroom" these days.

It was a dog fight even when TCU sucked. Ask KU. I seem to recall TCU only conference win one year being against KU.
It's 3 games in SIX days, Saturday to Thursday. And it sure beats the hell out of THREE plane trips to Texas. With the pandemic and Texas brought to its knees by the snowstorm and politicians keeping Texas off the National Power Grid where they could have "borrowed" power from nearby states, it's a miracle achievement. If the Big 12 lets WVU play at home for 3 games in a row that would be a super bonus, too. Just enjoy the games! I sure as hell will!
GREAT LINE, BUT OUR DEFENSE ISN'T THAT BAD. YES, STRAIGHT-LINE DRIVES TO THE BASKET DRY ME CRAZY. BUT WVU CAUSES MORE TURNOVERS THAN IT COMMITS, GAME AFTER GAME, SO THE DEFENSE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT. I ALSO ENJOY CULVER CUTTING UP THE POOR GUY TRYING TO GUARD HIM AND McBRIDE'S 3'S AND STRAIGHT-LINE DRIVES TO THE BASKET (SEE, WVU CAN DO IT, TOO).
How would that have helped when they were going through the same issues.

WVU gives up 72 points a game; OPP FG% 43.3; FG per game 26.4; Give up 7.1 3 pointers a game. Defense against 3 pt % is very good at 31%.
Turnover Margin is only 2.4 difference
We will have close games from here on out. McBride doesn't do a lot straight line drives. WVU takes far too many poor selection 2 point FG shots. WVU misses more layups than a 10 year old league.
