Losses to OU, Texas, Baylor and Oklahoma State with wins against KSU and ISU in between.

TTU now 18-12 (9-8) and a game vs Kansas coming up Saturday. Big 12 is starting to look like a giant bubble

If they're a big bubble, wvu is a big out. They're in before us. And especially if they use their espn method they do when its convenient with how you played late being more important than the whole body. They would be in trouble, and wvu wondering if a home or road game to open the NIT

It's all a matter of perspective. Some may look at this as a "whew" moment and take solace in the fact that others are struggling. Others may take it as a "oh ****" moment in that they couldn't rise above what turns out to be a not so tough log jam. If the team is more the former, losing out with maybe the exception of tonight may become a self fulfilling prophecy. Doesn't bode well for next year either. The latter may still result in a bad end to this season, but maybe more competitive in the losses and might bode well for those that stay into next year.

WVU hasn't turned it up yet...

Doesn't connect.
WVU is a team who has outworked teams all year.
Now teams are having to outwork WVU to have any chance.

The question is does WVU have enough to win games when both teams are playing for their lives.

I think they do because of their rebounding edge and their ability to hold teams to under 40% shooting.
That wasn't from outworking teams. That was because you are an elite rebounding team.

Tech's position is a lot more questionable.
They played a great game against Baylor.
Now they have KU at home...

Beard and that team is going have to dig real deep.

If they get pass TCU.

I wouldn't count out TCU and Jamie Dixon with how they have played the last few games.

TCU is the most dangerous because they have to win every game and make a deep run in the Big 12 Tournament.

Playing the same schedule tech is in 3rd, wvu is in a tie for 6th and may finish 7th. Tech finishes 3rd and wvu finishes 7th, and nothing different happens in the big 12 tourney, and only 1 team gets in the ncaa, its Tech. All of our success was before the new year mostly, most of the teams we beat fell apart and the wins mean less now, luckily o$u plays in a garbage conference so got their record back up, tech won the most recent game against us, how they looked at Baylor is better for the eye test than we have looked in 5 weeks.

OU entered NCAA tournament last season with a 7-11 conference record. The Bubble is weak and soft. But lose the last 2 and first round Big 12 and WVU is NIT first round loss.
