Tech’s defense looks pretty dang good. I haven’t seen them play this year, but I’m impressed.

Agreed. I am impressed so far.

But early on, it looks like the team with the bye may end up 0-6.

Im finding myself cheering for TT though.

I was thinking the same thing. These long layoffs don't appear to be as rewarding as advertised. Plus we are seeing some really slow starts where a scoreless first half is almost becoming common... and dont get me started on the number of turnovers. Almost looks like they haven't pick up a football in a while.

I created some threads about Texas Tech's DC, Shiel Wood. He's from Spartanburg and played football at Spartanburg high and Wofford. We don't need a DC but I'd love to get him on our staff one day. I'm sure he'd love to come back to SC.

Either Texas Tech didn't come to play or Oregon is just that much better because TT can't do anything.

They need an offense-can't even muster hardly a first down. Defense is keeping them in game even though they're down 13.

Bye week blues...happens to NFL teams as well.
Post season coaching is a different animal.
Guys like Nick Saban knew how to manage it.

Don’t follow TT but I was under the impression they were more prolific offensively. That was as unimaginative of an offense as I’ve seen; pretty much high school-ish.

Their offense was more deficient than their defense was efficient. What a terrible showing and lousy game.

It was like 3-0 when I posted this. Their O sucked and their defense kept bailing them out. I decided to take the kids to the zoo, and came back and saw it ended up being a blowout..glad I chose option B. That’s why you never see me moaning about the game in the first quarter for us.

I won't sugarcoat it. Oregon whipped Texas Tech. Red Raiders looked bad-especially on offense.

That was an offense that has put up a ton of points this year. Go figure. If I'm ND, I'm thinking dang, we really should join a conference.
