Fraze ain't no fan of Bo is he?
ITS NOT THAT WAY AT ALL. At least in my circles; even if they don't like HCMR, they consider the P regime morally bankrupt and most also mention all the records set against our DThanks for the link jflores. Tommie sounds like he blaming the players and saying the coaches should get more time.
One thing that stood out to me, Tommie was saying it's almost like 50/50 split amongst the fans that Pelini should still be here. I don't live in Nebraska, so I'm not immersed in NU football on a daily basis. That could be true, it would just surprise me.
I found it is like how liberals surround themselves with like-minded people, then are surprised when they encounter someone who doesn't like Planned Parenthood. Same way conservatives group together and can't understand anybody believes in man-made global warming (please no politics here, I'm making a point). Everyone I hang with is like-minded that we want NU to win, yes, but we also expect some standards of conduct from the head man. Imagine my surprise when I called a lady to buy her tickets I bought from last year and had to hear a 10-minute diatribe on how Bo got railroaded and the program will never be the same, etc. I thought only a handful of people on the message boards thought that way. Thanks for the link jflores. Frazier was a winnerI'd listen to Tommie before I would listen to bell.
Agree with this!I'd listen to Tommie before I would listen to bell.
Agree with this!
According to KB, "if you don't think 9 wins is good than I don't know who you should be a fan of!" Most ridiculous comment I think I've ever heard a player make.
Am surprised Tommy didnt stay in coaching. The Doane team he coached is currently #5 in the polls in NAIA after he laid the foundation.Frazier was a winner
He left there nine years ago. I don't know anything about Doane's current coaching staff, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say you might be selling them a bit short.Am surprised Tommy didnt stay in coaching. TF might have been a worse coach than Bo
Well after he went 3-17 in his two seasons there, Doane put up four more losing seasons in a row before turning things around in 2011. This is like arguing that Art Briles is riding Kevin Steele's coattails at Baylor. It might have been 9 years ago but this Husker legend laid the groundwork for the recent Doane teams. He just wasnt allowed to see it through due to some off-field issues.
