Orgeron wasted redshirts on guys all the time just to say that he was playing true freshmen. He'd stick them on the punt return team or something, and now we've got guys getting their first real action as juniors instead of as redshirt sophomores.
That was an ******* thing for Croom to do. I don't know his reasoning, but if you're going to pull a redshirt mid-year, you damn well better get the ball to the guy no matter what it takes.

I've seen him play a couple times, about 50% of Clayton Moore's passing yards are just screens to him.
I remember in last years 3A game Thames had 2 ints for TDs from his LB spot.
I think he needs to be on offense, but everyone has his projected as a safety.

for as long as I can remember, very talented players who could play on either sides of the ball have always wound up on defense. I think that may be about to change, to where there will atleast be distribution on an "as needed" basis...
and I think that we are going to be much more creative- as in Pegues in the Wildcat formation creative.

Thats why I'll leave the creative part up to Coach Mullen. I have full faith that he will succeed at this great university, and I thank Greg Byrne again for showing all of us that MSU is ready to compete in the SEC

Ole piss and their Nutt rag of a coach are never going to be able to compete head to head with Mullen in the state of Mississippi and dont take my word for it just ask any Arkansas fan that had to deal with him.

I went to the ms/al all star game sat. Thames was flying all over the field. Hits very hard. Looked like a leader out there. He would be a great sign if we get him.
