Thank goodness for NAFOOM. I mean this...

because I can get a quick rundown of what's happening on SixPackSpeak without reading the whole board. It's good to be hated again.

I thought that was pretty funny. I wonder if they realize that the Raymond Cotton discussion over here would be about 1/4 of what it is now if there werent Ole Miss posters interjecting their opinions in every thread (not that I have a problem with it, but to go back to NAFOOM and mock the fact that there is a lot of Cotton talk going on over here is laughable).

a moratorium on rebel posters. Maybe one day a week, rebel posters aren't allowed to stomp on any of our threads, especially concerning recruiting. You can't have a decent discussion about recruits b/c the majority of them (not all) turn it into an all out pissing match because they had to get a snide little remark in at the beginning.

they seem to be pissed off that we're even discussing it, but on Nafoom they're pretty much all on suicide watch over it.

You're a good poster - on both SixPack and Nafoom. I didn't expect that phrase to come from you?

There's alarm that the depth chart goes from Stanley, Cotton and Mackey to Stanley and Mackey, sure... but suicide watch is a bit strong.

Is it a snide remark even though that remark maybe 100% factual?

It has everything you ever wanted to know about "Moo U". Makes NAFOOM look like a Mensa message board.

I'm torn on this one myself. Both are the Gene's Page/Spirit free board All-Stars in my opinion.

Sometimes I don't think either one can be real.

vinny can't make a post, ANY POST, without it being a potshot at MSU.
76 can't make a post without taking a veiled potshot at Ole Miss, while pretending there is no way what he's saying is intended as a shot at Ole Miss.

I still think one or both of them is fake, but personally I'd say vinny is slightly worse because I get the feeling 76 is slightly more intelligent with his ability to pretend he doesn't care about Ole Miss while subtly mentioning us in every post.

Two more points for 76.
1 -THE ALL CAPS. HEY LOOK AT MY POST. IT'S IMPORTANT. THE SUBJECT LINE IS IN ALL CAPS.
2 - One out of every three posts references PMs he claims to get from OM fans. I don't have the data on that, but 1 in 3 sounds about right.

Even though technically there is a winner, you're both still losers.

If you're wondering, I picked the 2005 version over the 2006 version, because the 2005 version combined two teams that were slightly worse (1-13 combined SEC record against the rest of the SEC) than the 2006 versions (2-12 combined vs. the rest of the SEC).

He literally makes me laugh out loud. I go read the spirit board sometimes just for the off chance he's made a post.

NAFOOM was always the place I could go to find out about the hot Frat House bands of the 1990's, or hear stories of self-indulgent debauchery and degradation.

I still visit there, because this year I think their board could resemble SixPack circa 2003.

Along with the DDDY tournament, a one-time worst "Spirit" and worst "GP" poster tournament would be great.

It'd be even better if both Nafoom and SixPack could hold the tournaments separately, with Nafoom holding the Spirit tournament and SixPack hosting the GP tournament, with all posters from both sites eligible to vote, and then hold a grand championship vote with a combined vote of both sites pitting the GP winner and Spirit winner.

Claradog and theBigM would have to be mentioned as two of the worst Genespage posters. BigM will defend any MSU coach until his death. MississippiKite and REBMIK( capitalization?) deserve to be mentioned in the same category as VinnyVegas.

told me one time that the reason that he types in all caps was because he had some sort of hand problems.

As a health care worker, that pissed me off that he tried to pass keeping the caps lock on due to an injury. I called his *** out on that ********.

She posts like a woman with no sports knowledge whatsoever. It would be like me posting on a scrap booking message board.

I know one thing, if we've been paying players as much as Vinny insinuates, we've gotten a really ****** return on investment.

....but clearly it fixed itself once he got to the message body. Weird keyboard problem. Sounds like something that would happen to my mom's computer.

For what it's worth, at least some of you know that I'm an Ole Miss alum. I've been around here since pretty much the inception, but don't post much. Mostly I just ask a question or take one of our idiot posters to task. Why anyone with the brain capacity above that of a kumquat would hang out on NAFOOM is beyond my comprehension. That place is embarrassing.

Also for what it's worth, I pretty much like you guys over here. You get some honest discussion about State, which is all I'm interested in.

if we can't have a little banter back and forth, what's the point? Not like this is real life or anything.

I discovered NAFOOM awhile ago. I found a topic that if found interesting and was going to discuss it. I used a good-natured jab. I used the term **!% in describing Ole Miss but that was the only jab I made. That's it.

Banned. I can no longer post over there. Now, they call themselves that. Wow! So I made a new log on name. I found it interesting that they took offense at something so trivial as name calling.
