At least the Astros are undefeated right now, so I can at least currently hope we will compete for a championship.

Yea right...

I'm sure he's got talent... but Pujols like talent has only come around once or twice since about 1870.

I'm fired up though, glad the season is underway.</p>

And you guys may be right... but until he fails a drug test or slows down hitting... I'm going to believe he's clean and only 30.

But seriously..comparing a rookie to Pujols? That's lofty expectations...

Rick Cleveland seems to think he is mature beyond his years. He compared interviewing Heyward to interviewing a young Peyton Manning. Hell, Rick even predicted him to be a Hall of Famer.

It will definitely be interesting to see how he does this year.

Multiple scouts and baseball people, Olney being one of them, have called Heyward "Pujols in the outfield."

Heyward might actually be ahead of Pujols at this point in his career in the sense that he is a better defender than Pujols at this point in his career, and the fact that he is already faster than Pujols at any point in his career.

I still think Pujols is probably a better pure hitter than Heyward at the same point in their careers, and I think Pujols has at least the same amount of power, though.
