First of all I agree Stans is not so good with the X's and O's but I feel the real reason we lost was because the atmosphere was not at all Hump like.
The splitting of the student section made me feel like I was watching Tupelo High play. This was the most quiet I have ever seen the Hump. No one was standing, screaming, or even watching. Most people were texting and looking like they were about to fall asleep in their seats. When we would get down in the past our student section would stand and cheer and get the defense chant going and we would turn it around and come back for the W. Last night none of that was going to happen.

You have done a wonderful job in every aspect of AD I applaud you ten times. New baseball coach, Excellent! New football coach and atmosphere Outstanding! These two sports were broke and needed fixing. Basketball, However was not broke therefore dont fix it. Instead it has ruined the Hump, the atmosphere, and obviously our chances of winning. Now I know the student section is not solely responible for wins and losses, but we were once known as one of the tougher places to play. We are not Rupp or Cameron Indoor or the Carrier Dome but opposing teams do not like to play in the Hump. Untill now!

PS Greg Carter is the best coach in Starkville not Rick Stansbury, make it Happen!!!

Why, in all previous years, the Hump was totally rocking for the non-conference games. We could get 3000 fans to sound like 100,000. It was that kind of effort from the fans that led us to year after year of undefeated non-conference seasons, at least when we could avoid Shan Foster.

last night just did not remind me of the past when the Hump was rockin'. Rick's rowdies looked like rick's rookies... They couldn't get anything going.

Cause the new guy was just plain terrible. It would have been better with no announcer at all. In looking around me at the beginning of the game most of the students were saying the flick stuff to their friends

I don't remember the last time we had that many people at a non conference game. The fans could have been a lot louder, but thats not why we lost.

you know if we'd have had more people doing the "defense" chant, no way they'd have shot 50%. I mean - how else can you explain winning the SEC champ game against Tenn when we were outnumbered at least 2:1 by fans in orange? //

yeah, the Flick Screech was definitely why we lost the game, come on people this is rediculous.

I never understand you guys who love(d) Flick.

I will be with you all day on the Rowdies, their leaders and the new system, being terrible and Stans has never been and X and O coach and we have never played well against a zone under Stans but don't try and peddle this Flick crap on why we lost, please
