2 games is a small price to pay for saying what the more knowledgeable basketball fans have been thinking for years....maybe Stansbury will get it at some point

that when Stansbury is no longer at State, we hire you as the replacement. Go ahead and send your resume to Byrne now so that he will have it on file. Your support of Kodi in this situation is pathetic.

Stansbury is a terrible coach, too bad we got rid of the AD that knew this and wouldnt give him a contract extension.

Most coaches that can coach are coaching and the ones that can't are doing tv analyst and posting on message boards

I don't even know why I am biting on this topic since you are trolling as usual.... This has been said before but if that is what he really thought he should have discussed it in private with Stansbury... Even if it is blatantly obvious what your coach is doing is wrong you don't call him out in a public forum... Augustus has showed a total lack of respect and maturity and it is laughable that you continue to take up for him

Anyone that thinks what Kodi did Friday night was good in any way is a damn fool. Whether what he said was right or not is debatable, but nothing about the way he did it was remotely close to anything that should be celebrated or applauded. I'm amazed that some of you idiots are happy he did this. We obviously need more cancers on our team, so keep applauding this ****.

but when I hear that a coach has "all of this tremendous talent" I would assume at least a few would have made it in the NBA

always good NBA players. Stans is a complete victim of his own success. I agree if he doesn't make the Sweet 16 this year, he should be on the hotseat. Some people don't realize that other than 1 Sweet 16 and 1 final four that Stans has done more in 13 years than the previous 50 years of MSU basketball. All those banners hanging are mostly his but just like Polk, he shouldn't get a free pass.

I just dont think he has been loaded with tremendous talent. Kentucky, UNC, Duke. These guys have tremendous talent. Stans has had some great players though, and I agree it is time for him to get over the hump

State had to turn down a couple of trips in the 60's due to racial ramifications...but also, the NCAA Tourney was not like it is now until the 1980's...a couple of years after they expanded the field, we hired Richard Williams and we starting building a basketball program and putting some money into it. Basically, for the last 20 years, we have had a pretty good basketball program...being one of only 2 teams not to make a Sweet 16 from the SEC since 1997 is kinda embarrassing.

Only you would say something like this. Something like one player is bigger than MSU basketball or our coach simply because of your agenda with Stansbury. You can qualify it whichever way you wish (and I know you will) but Kodi has no business saying what he said to the press period. He is just another player.

Hell, I am as big a Stans supporter as there is but I was pissed with the way he handled things Friday night. He did not take the bull by the horns when he should have and tried to let his team get through their crappitude all on their own. Big mistake. That still doesn't mean I would applaud some titty-baby response from one of his prima donnas to the press.

This is the last time I will respond to one of your basketball posts this season. Have your say and be done but I think it is juvenile to applaud the Kodi crybaby escapade Friday night.

I don't think anyone said MSU was on par with those three. I am glad that you agree that it is time for Stans to make the Sweet 16 or hit the road..
