The push for Louisville was by U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell contacting Oklahoma University President David Boren (who before getting OU position served in U.S. Senate with McConnell) and asking for help for Louisville.
You don't understand power because you've never had any. That's why you post by yourself on a message board at 3:00 a.m. The power to influence others to do what you want them to do is enormous power. The B1G Presidents had the power to vote; the new woke B1G Commissioner had the power to influence their votes. All had some power. Class dismissed.
