I'm serious, I've never heard Davis Wade stadium louder than some of the third downs tonight and especially on the last play of the game. ESPNU's audio is ******. It was way louder than it sounded on tv.

Agreed, a friend of mine was on the sideline and he said that if was the loudest it had sounded on the field this entire season.

I really think people ringing cowbells don't yell nearly as much. The cowbell is a crutch.

And without the cowbell, people yell more.

Bells come through the TV mics really loud but in person yelling packs a bigger punch due to the lower frequencies. So more bass is better than more cowbell.
