Polk is gone and the season is one game from over. It has been hashed and re-hashed what was left or not left in the cupboard, and to me, it has just gotten very old reading about it.

It doesn't really matter how tired you are of hearing it, it's the goddamn fact.</p>

no matter how you run the bases
But the bad base running is the worse offense to me. Yes they both suck *** but sometimes teams score 4 run innings no matter what you do. You have more control over the base running thing. All it takes is a little baseball knowledge and some common sense.

This teams base running worries me. Talent is down, We all know that, but why would you compound that by running into outs and giving away scoring chances?

Ron Polk is gone....and, by the way, I am glad he is. However, that line is getting old, and we have to move on. I guess it is kind of like the "blame Larry Templeton" syndrome...it has a life of its own and has to die on its own. I hate losing more than anyone, but I just happen to believe that making excuses does no good. We lose to a no name team and we sarcastically thank Ron...we lose to the number two team in the nation by a run, and we sarcastically thank Ron...yada, yada, yada. Does the score change because we blame Ron?

it is hard not to read it when it is right before one's eyes everytime he looks at the board. I guess your solution is to stop reading the board? If so, then if I am sick of the way some things are going in today's world I should just stop living?

20 of Cohen's players and 15 of Polk's. If we're sitting on single digit SEC wins this time next year, Cohen will have some real explaining to do. Manieri sucked *** at LSU for a season and a half before he got things turned around there, and now just a couple of years later they're looking at getting a national seed. The record doesn't change because we blame Polk, but that doesn't even begin to imply it's not his fault. It is. These are his players. Every one of them.

But I'm not going to spend any time trying to talk you out of it either.

somebody in the crowd said the third base coach held Collins up and he tried to score anyway. I was there, and when Deloach hit the ball Collins hesitated for a second or two. Maybe if he runs at the crack of the bat like he is supposed to with two outs he has a chance, but I still doubt it.

I just wonder if the Kentucky coach is complaining about Cohen recruits since Kentucky was at the bottom of their division this year and didn't make the sec tournament either? I guess this year's Kentucky team was all "Cohen recruits". Just wondering
