You have left our new coach seriously debating putting an ad in the Reflector to get just warm bodies at WR. Thank you for leaving us with Necessary Roughness, minus Paul Blake at QB.

Thanks Pat Patterson - we needed you.

Honestly, what would Croom have done if we didn't fire his ***? He would have never landed Bumphis or Heavens. I am at least confident that Mullen will make something out of those freshmen.

I feel pretty confident in saying we would have the same thing like every year, except with Al Borges instead of Woody.

But you're right, the lack of commitment to getting offensive players is pretty appaling, especially for someone that wanted to run the WCO. If you're going to run that offense, or most offenses really, you need to make it a priority to get a QB, WR's, an o-line TE's, FB's, as well as RB's that have the talent to play in that offense. The only positions on offense that I can see that Croom didn't really neglect, not just this past year, but the entire regime were at RB. Probably because of his reputation as a RB coach. And that just kind of blows my mind. Especially when your offense is struggling. One of the best ways to fix it is to, you know, bring in good players. We're trying to win in the SEC with how many walk-ons starting on offense?

It's one thing to make a coaching feux paux here and there, but some of this is just common sense. Or you would think it was common sense.
