A good 100-150 showed up for the team tonight and Greg was impressed as well were some of the coaches.

I spoke to coach Balis for a second, just to tell him thanks for being here and how much a big part he is of all these wins.
He was thankful for the words and thanked me and others for coming out this late and how much it meant to the team,
and that he hadn't ever seen anything like this before.
I quickly asked..not even at florida do people ome and greet the team..and he said no..never...and why it meant a lot to him.

It just caught me as a surprise. Sure the fans likely go crazy in mobs when they win a championship at florida.. but I guess
not for a regular road win..which they are used to... I guess.

Glad to hear it had a great turnout. We need to keep our team riding the momentum. This is positive reinforcement for them after another road win, to come home and have a crowd waiting. I wish I would have made it but didn't get around to checking the interwebs until today so never got the memo.

Commonwealth, I was behind the rope on the curb, and he started working our fans about 3 down from me.
Shaking hands, pressing flesh as he always does.

Very un-Templetonian.

Young lads, I have no idea whether our athletic teams are going to be awesome winners, but their leaders, administrators, and coaches are. That's a good start.

Before "Hail State," the fight song at MS A&M was to the tune of Matelon, the one the band plays sometimes.
The official title of that fight song was, "We're Behind You!"

Leaders are those you want to be behind.
A leader knows you can't push a string, you can only pull it.
It will follow.
