I had worked myself up into accepting it was over well before it was finished. Actually in a decent mood, and then the last out of the 9th it really sunk in. Sucks to get this far and go down. But damn I've never been prouder to be a Dawg. What an incredible showing by our fans and team. Forget the bitching about the Maroon/White chant, it gave me chills to hear it as we were going down in the ninth. This event really showed off our fan base.

Still a damn good day to be a Dawg. We'll put ourselves back in a position to make these types of runs. Gonna be a bright future and I'm looking forward to it.

Never been more proud of an MSU team

and while this is huge for our baseball program, I have to think our entire athletic program took a step forward just by media exposure our school has received. We will be back in Omaha for many years to come. Tremendous season but still the tip of the iceberg.

Agree. This might suck right now and it might be the end of the season. But I firmly believe this is the start of the golden era of MSU Baseball. So let's grab hold tight and enjoy the ride. It's gonna be some kind of fun.
