Never head of that clownI’ve never understood the love for Lamar, and that halftime show did nothing to change my mind
I did a little wiki research on him & was surprised to see he’s considered one of the top 10 rappers of all time (by some)…ahead of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Easy E, Young MC, Sir Mix-A-Lot, etc…shocking.I’ve never understood the love for Lamar, and that halftime show did nothing to change my mind
I don’t listen to him but I do know he’s legitimately considered one of the best ever. He has an incredible talent to write new songs almost on the fly.I did a little wiki research on him & was surprised to see he’s considered one of the top 10 rappers of all time (by some)…ahead of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Easy E, Young MC, Sir Mix-A-Lot, etc…shocking.
Also, he won a Pulitzer prize…WTF?
Didn’t watch. But just saw this pregame. Have to admit it brought a tear to my eye. Now this is talent.
Same. Daughters were loving it.My daughters loved it. I am old so I just yelled at the cloud outside the window.

Never head of that clown
I liked so many clowns getting out of the clown car at the beginning. It really set the stage for the quality of the show.Never head of

ZEROI know I’ve aged out of most current music, but I’m left wondering how much of this has any staying power that people will still listen to 15 years from now.
My 13 year old daughter never heard of him and said he had no talent and she couldn’t understand him. My 16 year old daughter said he was terrible, but she liked the woman who sang on the song he did for the Black Panther movie. Of course, my girls can name just about any old song by Waylon Jennings and listen to 90’s music with me. Oh, and they can actually skin a buck, but have never run a trot line.Same. Daughters were loving it.
Why are you raising Drake fans?***My 13 year old daughter never heard of him and said he had no talent and she couldn’t understand him. My 16 year old daughter said he was terrible, but she liked the woman who sang on the song he did for the Black Panther movie.
My daughters enjoy classic country, Elvis, Nirvana, Queen, The Eagles, Billy Joel, Zach Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Kendrick Lamar. They have a very broad diverse musical taste which is not bad at all. There’s a lot more I’m forgetting. That’s what’s on the top of my head. They’re 12.My 13 year old daughter never heard of him and said he had no talent and she couldn’t understand him. I still play good kid mad city and it came out in 2012. Just because you old ******** hate rap music doesn't mean you have to get a message board and **** on it because guess what...no one cares and most of you are still stuck in the damn 70s and 80s. Dumb sum bitches didn't have to watch it...should have went and hugged your wife that you haven't touched since the first Bush term or call you son who hates you and who was probably jamming out to the half time show. The Super Bowl really needs to stick with multiple generational talents, Michael Jackson, Prince, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Madonna, Beyonce, etc. Nobody will play these songs in 10 years, short shelf life.

I wanted a full unedited CMR production including Big Tymers coming out”I 17 these hos”…. The FCC is probably getting cut anyway so it’s not like Fox has to pay the fineNever understood the pic for Lamar. lil Wayne. Juvenile. Boosie all rappers that are from the area. Would have been better if they did like LA did and feature artists from the area.
Sir there is no room for objectivity in this world. It’s only about YOUR likes.I'm not a fan of hip hop at all. I respect that others love it and understand that I'm old and getting older. I'm very aware of Kendrick Lamar and knew he was considered one of the greats already, but I'm pretty sure I've never listened to to a single song of his in full.
I watched the halftime show. Understood very little of what he was saying, but thought it was very well choreographed and produced.
I can respect things I don't like much. Maybe I'll try to figure out what he's saying and decide I like it...
