This team could not have won more than 2 games this year if they had to depend on winning them with the bats....

I knew we were out of pitching and it would be difficult to hang with LSU but my gosh.... somebody who wears maroon and carries at bat to the plate should at least TRY to be a hero!

but we simply have too many automatic outs in our line-up. With decent hitting, we may lead this game.

It's arguably the best staff in the country. As of last week, we had the 4th best ERA in the country behind Coastal Carolina, Missouri St., and North Carolina (only 0.03 behind UNC). I don't think there's any question we've played much better hitting teams than Coastal & Mizzou St.
