I wonder what our RPI is now. A win against LSU should put us in. IMO, we deserve it right now. When was the last time a 21-win SEC team was left out? If ever?

that team was Miss St. We lost to Arkansas in the semi's of the SEC Tourney.

But I think we have to win the thing to make it. If we make it to Sunday and lost, we would be 22-13 and I don't see that being good enough with the way the SEC is.

Not quite sure about that. I think we have to win tomorrow to have a decent shot at an at-large bid.

But nevermind that, let's win this whole damn thing.

He even took us out of the zone after that TO late in the game. Too bad we could't play like today against those early season non-conf teams we lost to.. we would be in the NCAA with the win today...

and actually enjoy the win. Sometimes I really do wonder if you want State to win. I think you would rather be right.

he doesnt give a rat's *** if state wins or loses... He just wants Stans to get fired... That is his mission in life. He is hoping we don't make the tournament either this year or next year so he has some sort of justification in that regard...

1 - I think we've been left out twice with 20 win seasons. 2- The poor mouthing of the sec has been taken too far by the pundits. Most haven't been paying attention recently. This has been a year of young teams in the SEC and it showed in the fall, but the whole conference has elevated its play in the last month or two. I think, at this point, we deserve 4 maybe 5 bids, but we'll get 2 or 3 and MSU will likely be left out. The country made its mind up about the SEC in December and nothing is changing that.

The North Alabama win doesn't count since it was a Div. II win.

We've got to beat LSU to have any chance at all at the NCAA tourney, and even then it would be a very slim chance.

For the life of me I don't know your reasons so I have to presume you felt this board would suffer exponentially without him.

meaningless 20-win seasons.
I realize you are trolling and all. But we ain't out of the woods yet. Unless, we win two more. Those 20 wins will be meaningless as far as the NCAA selection committee is concerned.

he has good knowledge about sports and he makes people post. I will admit - the couple of days he was banned was boring.

No one knows if conference is better because we are all playing each other. The only game we have to go by is LSU vs Xavier and LSU lost that game at home.

It's a league full of young teams and young teams tend to improve more over the course of the season.

But I have no doubt all these young players in the league have developed as well. I don't claim to be an expert, but I don't see the whole Big EAst and Big Ten as head and shoulders above the SEC at this point. At the top, they're better but we are gaining as a conference. Certainly we have no world-beaters in the SEC this year, but we have 3 or 4 teams that could get hot and make the sweet 16. Including MSU.

Not going to get into a pissing match with your stupid *** today like you obviously want. I'm VERY happy with the win today and I give Stans and the team big time credit for putting together a nice run here at the end of the season. As for your topic, exactly how meaningFUL is a 20 win season when it doesn't get you to the NCAAs? Do you have a banner celebrating our 24 win NIT Final Four season?

I've said it a million times. He would much rather be right than State win. It's not even close. He has proved it many times. The average IQ of this board doubled when he was shitcanned.

...what was this board be without Peaches? He takes way more than he dishes out, and usually does it good naturedly. He makes a fool of himself daily, and that is entertaining.

he has good knowledge about sports and he makes people post.
Assuming you are serious with this post, I sincerely hope he starts sharing that "knowledge" with the board soon...so far, I'm only familiar with his ******** info.

The "he makes people post" reply is probably more accurate, most post = more hits = more potential revenue. I get it.

I got furious listening to ESPN Radio last night and the Doug Gottlieb show. They were taking emails about the NCAA tourney and one listener emailed about MSU's chances if they were able to pull off a win today and against LSU. They basically berated MSU and said no chance in hell and they wouldnt even justify the email with a response. They said only serious emails only. They were jerks.

What would it actually cost to dissolve Peaches from the board for good?

As far as his knowledge if sports.....I believe there are more than enough folks on here to cover and explain the "knowledge" he gives us without missing a lick.

<span class="post-title">Have you ever been a message board operator?...</span>
Boy, that's damn close to the old "hey, you never played college sports so you don't know what the hell you're talking about."

But to answer the question, I've never operated one, never intend to. But I do know that someone that stirs up as much **** as Coach does is good for business. Even if it's the same old tired ****....we keep falling for it and "clicking" away. Hey, I don't begrudge you for it, it's just part of the beast.

As I stated before, I get it. Don't take it so personally.

I think the SEC has gotten better as the year has gone on. LSU can be a tough match-up, Auburn is playing well...We have improved greatly, especially since playing the post players more often...Tennessee and Bama are playing better...

Future looks good for the SEC right now

You know, the first sentence of your post could just as easily have been posted in response to all of the idiots whose first thought after an exciting win was, "Alright, I get to go on Six Pack and make fun of Coach34!"</p>

reset next year. Heavy upperclassmen losses. This is it for those teams, IMO. On the other hand, MSU Bama Ole Miss and Arkansas all come back strong.
