to Wilder for my comfort... He almost tripped him up on that TD. That would've sent our fanbase into a "tizzy"

that would have been typical MS State for that ref to !!%* up that play. I can't believe Lee made that pass.

That's George Ranager. He was my next door neighbor for 7 yrs. Lives in Meridian. He's actually a great guy who would give you the shirt off of his back. And a hell of a golfer. Played for the Bahr at bama back in the late 60's. Got a nat champ ring. He's worked a lot of our games through the years. Been a back judge for many yrs. And oh...Klong, he would kick your ***.

He went to play for the Bahr because he wanted to win National championships, instead of play for mediocre teams at Ole Miss. turned out, he played for those teams Bahr had that went 6-5. He DID make the winning TD catch in that legendary 33-32 OM-Bammer game in 1969.

The ref was right there about to mess up the play. But to his credit, he did a great job of getting out of the way. Kudo's to him.
