Down two starters (our two best defenders), with one getting hurt right before the game giving our guys no time to prepare for it, and I think the team deserves a lot of praise for pulling out the win tonight. I didn't look at the minutes played, but I think Cliff and PM played more minutes than usual. Probably a bunch of guys did.

Don’t bring that chop crap here. Pike’s program is legit. This team doesn’t need gimmicks
Chop is not crap and is a part of Rutgers sports identity. And that's a good thing.

And I've been following rutgers basketball since the mid 1960's.

Basketball and football matter. And others too. No room for petty jealousy. The days of Bob Mulcahy underfunding hoops are long gone.

We all said Pike would have to earn his money down the stretch after the wheels appeared to be falling off the bus with the bad home loss to Nebraska. Then when they announced right before the game today that Caleb was out, it looked very grim for RU. But, Pike pressed the right buttons today and the team rallied to pick up the huge Quad 1 road win. Hopefully, things are back on track. Beat Michigan!!

Because no one is happy with what the football program has done the past 10 years. Not sure why you would even make the analogy.

Basketball has their own saying. No need to start mixing the two unless you’re going to start saying the football team pounded nails after a win.

There is an overall internally adopted Rutgers identity of Chop that transcended football for more than a decade before a sports writer (Rothstein) coined it. No conflict between that.
