My laptop decided to update and I missed the visual, but since I live in Augusta, Ga I could pick up USCe's radio broadcast of it. Their guys said it was real, real close and weren't sure that he was tagged. What did it LOOK like?
Probably a bad call but piss poor effort on CT's part. If he is sprinting the whole way he is safe easily. Or could have been Mingione's fault for waiving him home too late. That looked possible too.
Looked safe on tv but CT was jogging to third and it shouldn't have been close..
Can't wait for all the excuses and reasons the play was even close.
Plain and simple, he was loafing to third and then was sent home. Had he been running hard entire time, no play at the plate. Once more, **** base running costs us an out and a run im this case.
