Really hope we have someone step up in that group. Losing Coleman (which wasn't surprise considering he's on team... 5?) really sucks as he was our best weapon last year.
An optimist would say Coleman hadn’t done much before last year either. We definitely don’t have much returning production but the hope is one of these transfers can have a Coleman-type breakout year.
I feel decently about Brenan Thompson being able to fill Craver’s role as the home run threat. We need Evans and/or Williams to become reliable for us. Ricky Johnson has been getting some buzz as a RS freshman, maybe he can live up to it.
We have a lot of them. How good they are remains to be seen. Definitely a downgrade in talent from last year. Although I think losing Craver wasn’t a bad thing.

Whoever it is, number 15 was the DB on that play. Who is it? Really great catch though by “Frisco” and I have no idea who that is either but I’m glad someone in the WR corp can do that.
With the portal I have no clue who is on the team anymore and it's made it really impossible to track and follow players and or really give a damn about any particular player because they are likely are borrowed time any how. I don't give a rip if they get paid but the transfer portal has just killed any sense of it being college sports as it used to be. So I couldn't tell you who is in wr room or in the db room
It takes all of 10 minutes of research to see who is who and where they came from. The 2 guys in that play are not transfer players btw
I’m amazed at the continued excuse of “I don’t know these guys.” If you even follow MState athletics just the inkling of a percent then you’d see info on the players on the roster. But I get the feeling it’s internet cool these days to not keep up and hate on the current situation of football.
On the flip side, I bet everyone knows who our baseball transfer players are for next year.
