...I like Detz
Detz is CLUTCH!
Needs to be in the 3 hole serving up Hunter and Wes.
Isn't this the 7th straight game with double digit hits? And I completely agree, Dietz has got to be the starter at 2b
When you swing away and don't give the other team outs.** I would have never thought that swinging the bats would lead to more than 1 run being scored per inning.
Exactly what I've been saying it takes to put up crooked numbers on the scoreboard, yet others have continued to argue the last couple years.

Just to educate the board, again tonight's 5th inning was by far the most important inning we've played this year. One of the most important in Cohens career. In the past he would NEVER have allowed those 2 AB's (Hann and Frazier) to go by without forcing an out. His management of that inning was a very huge step in the program going forward and now gives me the confidence in Cohen that not only Omaha, but SUCCESS in Omaha is attainable. We've had the talent to make a DEEP run in Omaha and from what I saw tonight we have the coaching and talent to win the whole damn thing. Lets hope he keeps it up.

Haha you are a 17'N joke, bro.
Hilarious.
Detz/Britton/Hann may the best man win the 2B job.
Pirtle is widely known to be the guy at 2B at this point.
Competition will determine that. Detz has looked best the times Ive seen.
I've been saying that that Pirtle would start for months now
I really hope we continue hitting well and NOT bnuting, because COHEN is pretty funny when we're winning and he gets all excited. I am a huge MSU baseball fan, and when things are going good, I get excited like I'm on the damn team. I think he's the same way, and that's why I've always thought if he'd let the ****ing thing go he would be a really good COACH during baseball season. Hopefully HE will help allow that to happen, and we call enjoy kicking *** the entire season.

It's nice to see this lineup prove to Cohen they can get it done on their own. I was VERY proud of Cohen for letting Hann and Frazier swing away in the 5th. Last year both would have **. After Cohen challenged them to produce we promptly scored 3 runs to go up 6-0.
the key here is that this line up has shown cohen they can hit. no other team we have had, under cohen, has been as capable of gettin it done at the plate like this one. since we are swingin it fairly well i expect ****s to drop off....if we start strugglin they may pick up. it's not as if cohen became a better coach; he is just coaching to his team's strengths and trying to coach away from the weaknesses.
2006 Kentucky showed that doesn't matter. This was a sign of coaching progression.
you mean the team that was at the top of the SEC? yeah cohen did a ****** job that year...
