That's it. I'm done. It's time for Stans to go.

No excuse for this ********. He was a great coach for us for a long time, but the last few years have just been unbearable. I thought we had kind of turned the corner with this team, and offcourt we have. But on the court it's just the same old ****.

If he can't get results with this team then there is no hope for him. He needs to just retire at the end of the year and try and save face. I am done with hoops permanently until a change is made.

play good basketball and barely make the nit than watch what should be better than sweet 16 talent **** the bed.

This team has the talent to win it all. Sadly, there isnt one reason to pay a coach to do it. Give the kids a plane ticket, a uniform and let them go.

instead of stepping on the gas and stepping up the effort to feed the ball inside to the turnover machine (Moultre) and our best 3pt % shooter (fAtass), we turn the ball over and launch threes and let LUSH back into the game. That on Stains.

nothing has changed with this team. inmates run they asylum. we have no team chemistry, no desire to win, and no respect for the coach who clearly doesn't demand it.

I can't take anymore of this. The players don't give a ****, the coaches aren't worth a **** and this season has turned to ****.

We have made good hires in the Byrne/Grasshopper eras. It's time for stans to be replaced. We will get a good coach, may struggle a year or two, bUt hopefully start seeing a difference after that. That's the current trend at least....

This^^^. I have backed him for years, but it's time. Tonight was just awful to watch. Not bc we lost, but bc it was the worst display of basketball I've ever seen.

garbage- Recruit talent, then squander. Repeat. Done wasting any emotion on this team- why should I care? They don't. More importantly, their coach doesn't . Viva la baseball

But if the current pace continues I'm sure an overwhelming amount of State fans, myself included, will agree.

Given he's been at it for a while, he has won a lot of games, but he'll never take us past the 1st weekend. I see this team getting reamed on opening day by a team that shouldn't even be allowed on the court with us.

I just don't see Strick letting this continue, when Stans has lost an overwhelming majority of the fanbase and $ donating alum. It cannot continue. Can it?

Sounded like a tomb on television, and there were many empty seats visible. It might as well have been a home game for us because we didn't seem to be playing before hostile fans, and certainly not loud ones.<div>
</div><div>I'm beginning to wonder if he have the right coach also ... rolling with a 17 point lead, the lay down the rest of the game ....</div><div>
</div><div>Have we beat anybody by double digits this year?</div>

We have had more success win wise than ever before with Stans, but continued underachievement, lack of discipline, and poor conditioning have made it unbearable finally. Not to mention his obvious inability to coach! Even if we make the tourney we won't make it past the first weekend and will be another failure as far as I am concerned. I am now ready to move past Stans as well as hard as it is to say. But, if we do make the tourney there is no way in he'll Strick gets rid of him! I said it before, I would rather have a year or two with a 10-20 record then make a run at the Final Four than to be average at best every year and " hope" to make the tourney as a reward!

go on around here. I have friends that pick on me for not talking bad about the guy as thry CLEARLY do. One of my friends has had a 2 year self imposed ban of the basketball team for the last 2 yrs. He won't watch games, listen to them or read articles about them. After football he only looks forward to baseball season. Guess what, I am NOW with him & all of you guys. This is ridiculous! Playing defense is about effort. There is NONE on the floor! Even effort guys like Wendell have quit this team. I hope we miss the tourney, lose EVERY game from here on in. He needs to be gone! Get a high energy, defensive oriented coach that will focus on execuition. I understand that who ever we get won't be the recruiter Stans is. But I don't care anymore. He has clearly lost control of this team. I'm done too.

and coming off the first true SEC championship we've won since 1963? That's insane.
