We'll see if its a better fit. With the attitude of:

"I think it's sad that it came out," Pelini said. "That's what's wrong with that place."

I'm not sure any place will ever be the better fit. For the man to keep saying he preached accountablility this is a glaring example of how FOS he is/was. Like the old saying goes for the guy cheating on his wife.....he's sorry he got caught, not sorry for the action. Good riddance.

Dude needs a good ol' weekly session with a therapist. He knows he's *supposed* to take accountability when things go badly, but ultimately his locus of control is external. He's always got a list of reasons it wasn't his fault. So much about him screams, "AT MY CORE I AM A VERY INSECURE PERSON AND I WILL YELL AT YOU BECAUSE I AM AFRAID OF BEING LOVED AND THEN BETRAYED!!!"

You torch the bridges in front of a bunch of kids on your way out by calling your boss...what was it? A c*nt? But yeah, that's what's wrong with Nebraska is that you can't just do that and have it stay your little secret.

He's like the IROC driving, no-good boyfriend in the leather jacket that never grew up. "Nobody understands us, babe! Your parents just hate me because they don't get it and they wanna drive us apart!"

I was behind keeping Bo right up until he was fired and after the video/audio came out I realized how wrong I was....after just reading the latest comment I realize just how delusional the guy is.

"The perfect place for a coach who spent much of the last five years hearing about everything he was doing wrong while winning 71 percent of his games."

....and winning almost nothing of significance and not only losing but losing big to just about every highly ranked team. There....the article failed to post that lil nugget.

"I'm not an ego-driven guy.

Not sure that you can find another human on the planet to back you up on that one Bo.

I'm not one to worry about how many people are in the stadium or how big the stadium is or how many games are on TV or anything like that."

Good thing since Youngstown is probably your ceiling now.

One of the challenges at Nebraska was dealing with the ghosts. The Huskers' long run of excellence, decades of consistently contending for national championships under Tom Osborne and Bob Devaney, has created expectations in Lincoln that are nearly impossible to meet.

The expectations were to win an occasional conference championship, don't get blown out by mediocre teams and don't act like a d_ck. Are those really "nearly impossible to meet" ?

Under intense scrutiny,

What does that mean, don't most fans watch the games and follow the team?

Pelini went 67-27 at Nebraska, but never won a conference title

Or, more accurately, just won the division title in a weak division once in the last four years.

and his teams too often came up short in big games.

Okay, if 59-24, 63-38 and 70-31 losses are "coming up short".

His sideline outbursts would make national news.

No sheet, so did his tantrums in front of the media and telling the fans who pay his $3 million salary to kiss his backside.

Needed better parents to teach him to take responsibility for his own actions. Sign of a very juvenile mind who blames others for tape recording and releasing audio of him being a douche, rather than just blaming the douche (himself).

Ya, must be our fault that things went south & that your outburst and low road tactics came out. Dang Husker fans anyway.

Tulsa, did you read the article? There is a legitimate beef with Bo on this. I have no doubt when spring practice threads are posted they'll see plenty of action, but Bo did not do himself any favors with this article. People are commenting, as is their right. Do you really need to needle people this way? Can you see how some call you a troll for stuff like this?

If you want to talk spring practice start a thread. I would be happy to read it.

The lying preacher is back with his trolls. Shocker that he falsely generalizes the whole board once again. Go to HPH with the rest of the knuckle-draggers Tom. Your act will go over much better there.

Many of us aren't ready to "turn the other cheek" quite yet. What that SOB attempted to do to the University we all love, will never be forgotten nor forgiven from this Husker fan.

Anyone who thinks that a rant of that nature will not get out in this day and age is not really smart and should not be coaching anything anywhere.

Hey Bo, here's a thought. Don't be an *** then you won't have to worry about video of you being an *** getting out.

Pelini might not be a dick 24/7 but he sure plays one well pretty most of the time.

Easily my two favorite nuggets.

"I'm not an ego-driven guy" and "I'm not one to worry about how many people are in the stadium."

O'Reilly and Obama, combined, don't have as much ego as BP. [/B]And judging by his hissy fit after a come-from-behind win in front of a 97% full stadium v. OSU, he most certainly worries.

I feel sorry for the guy; his inability to realize what he is is sort of concerning. I really hope that getting out of the spotlight and being back among his people can get bring some sort of peacefulness and awareness.

Nah, I actually started a thread about spring football. Why don't you post in that...instead of perusing the Bo thread?

What? Telling the truth? Go back and count the number of posts about spring football and the number of posts about Bo Pelini and let us know what this board is concerned about.

Sometimes it is what it was.
And sometimes it is way worse than you than you thought it was.

"You can figure it out. It's not that hard." If the local Youngstown media and fans are cool with this type of interaction, then he has found a good fit and more power to him.

I guess I see "participation" as being more than a two letter word. If one of my students participated in that way, their score would still be a zero.

Bullcrap. You specifically jumped in this thread to troll. This thread was about Bo's article & you deliberately stated there was ZERO discussions about spring practice. Wrong

There have been numerous threads each day concerning spring ball. Do you really think that Bo is just going to fall away in the sunset. The man was here for 7 years. Hell we still talk about TO, Frank, Bill, Devaney. Show me where there were TONS of posts, TON, means 2,000 and since you used it in the plural sense, I'm thinking you meant 4,000 minimum.

Quit trolling TT.

I'm not at practice and I'm not an "insider" thus I don't have a definitive opinion to post on how Darlington or any other QB is looking. But I do have a definitive opinion to post on our former coach who continue to make dumbass back-handed comments about where I'm from and the team I'm a fan of.

I never said participated, you did.

Now that you've been corrected, you're trying to flip the script. Homey don't play that, it's not 2009 anymore.

Guys, you need go through and archive these pieces written by the Sipple of Youngstown. In four years when Pelini is fired and working at McDonalds, or a high school, they would be even funnier.

I'm glad that this guy has all by himself opened the eyes of any doubters still out here. He is a world class level bag of sh&@ And he deserves to rot in that hellhole.
