If you've seen the video, that **** is ridiculous. As in he is totally in the wrong ridiculous. Also, while typically a report of a coach calling a player a wimp and a sissy is nothing to raise an eyebrow over, when those words are coupled with bending a player over and whipping him... that's some perverted stuff.
I saw the video on news and I have a question. The kid is bent over with his hands on his knees, looking back at the coach. When the belt is swung,the kid does not move. The sound that you hear is the belt hitting the pads on the wall. The coach does this 3 or 4 more times and the kid stills stays in the same position. I have been whipped with a belt before for somethings I did , I did not stand still.
Black and white folks are standing behind the coach and saying he was right to try and instill some discipline in the players. The school board had to suspend him because he violated policy agains corporal punishment. I don't agree with his actions though and think he should be fired.
