Great video. Thanks for posting.
None of the others are close. Unreal that wasn’t #1. I was at that game and never heard Rupp that loud.Minnefield rose up like nothing I've seen. Before or since.
#1 in my book.
Yep. Dirk is clear #1None of the others are close. Unreal that wasn’t #1. I was at that game and never heard Rupp that loud.
It was made at the start of the 2013 season, so nothing post 2012 would be on there. I would also guess finding dunks from the 70's and 80's online is not easy.Enjoyed watching the dunks but that wasn't a very good list. It way over emphasizes 1996-2012.
Because it was written in 2013.Enjoyed watching the dunks but that wasn't a very good list. It way over emphasizes 1996-2012.
That’s the first video clip I ever remember watching on the internet.Derek Anderson on Nate Johnson in December 1996.

For me at least Minniefield NOT dunking and missing a wide open layup against UL at the end of regulation in elite 8 game disqualifies him cost us a title IMOYep. Dirk is clear #1
One of my faves all time.Willie Cauley - Stein.

The Minnefield dunk was No. 1, IMO ... and not even close. He seemed to defy gravity in that moment to deliver a crushing dunk. I've never seen anything since that could compare. That was awesome to see those dunks. Thanks for sharing, OP.
I always loved seeing any of Walker’s dunks. Surprised there was only one in the top 20. Even more surprised that Minniefield’s dunk wasn’t number 1. Dude broke free from the forces of gravity that prevent mortals from doing what he did. I still don’t understand it.
Lob Rock ... a blast from the past.Rob Lock really needs a shout out...
I like the minniefield dunk as #1...minniefield lob from half-court to Bowie should be on the list...Kenny Walker should have more representation, he remains the best dunking machine I ever saw play for the CatsNone of the others are close. Unreal that wasn’t #1. I was at that game and never heard Rupp that loud.
David Robinson scored 45 In rupp against Rob man those were some lean years at KentuckyLob Rock ... a blast from the past.
I second this. There were some great dunks but go back and watch that one.. It is unreal its like he is walking up to the rim . CrazyMinniefield dunk would be my top pick.
Absolutely Positively.Jack Givens was never known to be much of a dunker.
Nastiest dunk was James Lee vs. USSR almost tearing off the arm of a Shaq-sized Russian
