Both of whom were 2 stars coming out of high school. Neither had an offer from another SEC school.
What about that 2011 recruiting class....with 2 star recruits, Taveze Calhoun, Preston Smith, Benardrick McKinney, Kendrick Market, Justin Malone, and 3 star recruits, Darius Slay, Justin Cox, Josh Robinson, PJ Jones, Zachary Jackson, and Dak Prescott.
They were recruited during the heyday of Bulldawg Junction, and I remember the experts there (who I assume are all now on the 247 board) could not understand why we recruited McKinney.
I remember one poster, who must be a member of a heavy metal band, being particulary critical. I posted something along the lines of the fact that you'll never see what he's fully capable of in highschool because he never came off the field (played QB and LB), so he's probably more physically exhausted than anyone on the field. But I was quickly told he wasn't an SEC talent.
