WTF:

We play:
Alabama, Georgia, A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, Tennessee, Clemson, Arkansas, Kentucky, MS State. The other 2 dont matter. Thats 10 games that we probably win 2-3 of.

2-10 sounds about right looking at the schedule. Apparently Donati is fine with it.

We need to drop Clemson AND leave the SEC and drop down to DIV II.

Dead serious.
You do realize you don't keep getting the same caliber of players if you were to drop down a division or change conference. So there is no guarantee you would do well in Div II.....lol

Yes, I realize that....but the losses wouldn't matter and we could save ourselves national TV embarrassment.

and to get to the playoff we would have to go 10-2 and then even then idk look at Vandy they might not get in at 10-2. Beamer is delusional if he thinks we are going to the playoff next year but he keeps saying it like we're stupid

Obviously not easy but if programs can be built at Vandy, Indiana, others, it can be done with the right coaches, players and, of course, $$$$. Not saying we have the right ingredients, just that those schools would have been laughed at mercilessly if anyone had said a few years ago they would be where they are now.

That 9th SEC game is going to keep SC out of bowl eligibility fairly often. We have been bowl eligible with 6 wins quite a few times and have relied on those cupcake FCS wins to get to 6. Taking away a cupcake is going to make bowl eligibility tougher for teams like SC, UK and Miss State.

Yep. Assuming we schedule 2 guaranteed wins (not sure w our football hating ADs trying to stack the toughest schedule in America on us every year) we have 2 wins + Clemson and 9 SEC teams we gotta find 4 wins among. What 4 SEC teams are we gonna beat consistently???
