It was the first time in 34 years – 1,080 consecutive games – that Vandy made NO 3’s.


See, it’s not just a WVU team. Not that it makes us feel any better when Huggins Heroes throw up airballs or rim-bounceoffs from outside the 3-point arc.

Instead of picking on poor little Vanderbilt, shouldn't you be making up a lame nickname such as, "Barnes' Barnstormers," incessantly heaping praise upon the Vols for having held the Commodores to far below Vanderbilt's three-point percentage for the season, and shouting to the rooftops that you "love this team?!!!!"

Only if you make them! I much prefer having Oscar and Derek dunking or laying up points, again and again. When Huggins Heroes get the ball in the paint to them, good things happen, as in the rout of TCU! Now, 7 pm Monday on ESPNU, let's lasso some Longhorns!!! Make it thumbs-up for WVU and Horns down for Texas!!!! (But don't let the refs see you do it!)
