That slop is better than the small 8, better travel and competition. In the AAC east WVU might be 3rd or 4th. OK St TCU Baylor SMU and Houston makes that side a pretty good conference. Plus you have big TV markets

I didn't love the 2008 Pirates when No. 8 WVU lost to them 24-3....kind of exposed Bill Stewart wasn't the right man for the job.
They have the third highest largest stadium in the state
If ACC leaves WVU out you get them back there. ECU isn’t afraid of UNC
WVU ends up in the AAC or some creation of it they still have a football program, still have a basketball program and still have an university.
