How dare you? Coach 34 and Coach 57...
have already booked their hotel rooms in South Beach for the national championship game. That fact we beat Auburn is a step forward for our football program. It's only the second time we've beat them at home since 2000 but we play in the SEC and every conference game we play will be a battle. I think we are better than both UK and Mississippi but we will still have to play well to beat those teams.

First off dumbass (Bogey) I still haven't heard you do what others that were wrong did. Admit you were wrong. You said AU was "FAR more talented". Where's you McCaleb stats at now that they run in a pro set Vs. LdP? You're such a dumbass! Oh, and who are the big boys? You mean the tram that got trashed by ULM tonight? I predicted what I did (9-3 10-2) based on what I knew Vs our competition. I knew that Arky would be down w/out the guy who makes great halftime adjustments (Petrino), I knew AU would be down w/out Dyer & the guy who has saved Chizik's *** since 09' (look at the stats yds they've given up Vs the competition) and tsun is still a dumpster fire w/ stickers on the side.i never said we're gonna win the west. We're nowhere near as talented as Bama or the most talented tram in the nation in LSU. But if you think we can't beat Upig, aTm, tsun, UK, UT, Troy, S.Ala and MTU you're 17ing crazy! Go grab your 9 iron turn that sum ***** sideways and stick it straight up your candy ***!
By no means would I see 9-3 as a disappointment, but it's hard not to be cautiously optimistic after absolutely destroying an Auburn team that was a play or two away from beating a Top 15 team last week. There may be a select few that would view 9-3 as a disappointment, but I'd bet it's far from the general consensus of this board.
Cue downplaying Clemson ranking to worsen Auburn to say we still aren't any good in 3, 2, 1...
What would it have taken for some of you to be a little more optimistic after two weeks? Beat auburn by 40? Offense has looked good, defense has looked good, ST has looked terrible--yeah that has to improve but we have a freshman kicker with nerves and it could take a few games to settle them. Luckily, we got past our early season test and have a few more cupcakes to upright the ship.

It’s difficult for me to believe that my tax dollars actually pay your salary to educate students in our state. No wonder we are 50[SUP]th[/SUP] in most categories with individuals like you in our schools. As I stated yesterday, Mullen did exactly what I said he should do to beat Auburn. Auburn has had multiple top 10 recruiting classes over the last few years so I was correct when I said that they have more talent, but we have a better coach.

Not necessarily... most of that "talent" they have isn't even on their team right now. They may have a handful of players on their starting unit that has more talent than some of our starters, but not many. Where did they look flat out more talented than us to you? If all you can say is special teams then that's not going to carry any weight.

But 8-4 is disappointing, because it means going 1-2 against Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Arkansas, and we should be favored in all 3 at home. That should be disappointing to any fan of any team who blows not 1 but 2 of 3 games they are favored in.

They have more talent at the DE position than we do but that's not my point. We were clearly the better team but it does not change the fact that they have a lot of talent. I think that our superior coaching made the difference.

In no way, shape, or form is this a 6-6 football team. You know it, I know it, everybody that reads here knows it. You were wrong- just say we're a little better than you thought and move on.

Comes from the coaches wool... Our coaches seem really excited about this team so why shouldn't the fans be excited. Our offense looks light years better than last year and our defense is flying around the ball and making plays. The only complaint I have is special teams but hopefully we can get that worked out in the next 4 weeks before we play UT. Good things are going to happen this year. Book it.

That's pretty much where I stand right now. I don't think that 9-3 would be a disappointment but anything less probably would be. The score may not have shown it, but State destroyed Auburn yesterday and we're going to have UT, A&M, and Ark all at our house. It's hard for me to believe that anyone wouldn't be disappointed by losing 2 of those at this point.
Who said they don't have talent? That's not MY point in my question to you. You said Auburn has more talent than we do. Where? If the DE position is the only one you can come up with then that statement you said is completely off base. Not only is the coaching better, but admit it... we actually have better talent than you want to admit. Why is it such a hard thing for you to accept?
