Then why aren’t Texas A&M and Texas winning?$$,$$$,$$$. There ain’t no shortcuts now. No niche schemecan compensate. It’s all about money now. Some of yall will try to ease your minds hanging a hat on a scheme or a coach….ok….fantasy land stuff.
Texas is winning at about the highest level you can expect. They are a “very good” QB away from undefeated. They misevaluated Arch, but hell, they figured he’s a Manning. He will be great. They will always be able to buy an elite roster. Money won’t guarantee championships, lack of it will make not winning one a certainty. Then why aren’t Texas A&M and Texas winning?
Money is probably 60% of the equation, but not the only input in the formula. Tallant evaluation, coaching, development, scheme, health and luck are factors.
Texas and MSU have the same damn record.Texas is winning at about the highest level you can expect. They are a “very good” QB away from undefeated. True we have the Same numbers. For now. Season isn’t nearly over.Texas and MSU have the same damn record.
You can't win without it.Then why aren’t Texas A&M and Texas winning?
Money is probably 60% of the equation, but not the only input in the formula. Tallant evaluation, coaching, development, scheme, health and luck are factors.
To suggest that we are a poverty program that does not have the financial means to be competitive in the SEC is just straight incorrect. It's completely divorced from reality. You can't win without it.
I'm not suggesting we are a poverty program at all. We aren't. We undeniably live in a very wealthy neighborhood though. We are the house with the Audi parked in the driveway in a neighborhood where every other house has a Bentley. To suggest that we are a poverty program that does not have the financial means to be competitive in the SEC is just straight incorrect. It's completely divorced from reality.
going back to this thing about us not winning because we don't have money is just a lazy argument being made by people who don't wanna confront the reality we face.
The reality is that we have the wrong leadership. We've got the wrong leadership in the head coaching chair and we've got the wrong leadership in the president's office. Our problems are all about assessing and evaluating talent, getting the right people on the bus and getting them into the right seats, and then executing. We've got plenty of money to be able to do those things. We don't have the right people doing those things. As a result, we're spending the money we have on the wrong things. That's our problem.
I don't disagree with that. But I do think there are more people in our neighborhood with Audis than there are with Bentleys. We can be competitive. This is why we can't afford to employ subpar coaches.I'm not suggesting we are a poverty program at all. We aren't. We undeniably live in a very wealthy neighborhood though. We are the house with the Audi parked in the driveway in a neighborhood where every other house has a Bentley.
And that's not changing. So we might start coming up with ways to mitigate that.I'm not suggesting we are a poverty program at all. We aren't. We undeniably live in a very wealthy neighborhood though. We are the house with the Audi parked in the driveway in a neighborhood where every other house has a Bentley.
There is no way to mitigate it. There never has been. And that's not changing. So we might start coming up with ways to mitigate that.
We were playing a Bentley yesterday.I don't disagree with that. But I do think there are more people in our neighborhood with Audis than there are with Bentleys. We can be competitive. This is why we can't afford to employ subpar coaches.
You're paying too much attention to the helmet. LSU is not great this year.We were playing a Bentley yesterday.
They have more talent at every position, except for one or two, than we do. They have way more depth behind the starters too. Quit deluding yourself. That would have been a tough game even if we had been healthy. You're paying too much attention to the helmet. LSU is not great this year.
Great job at demonstrating that you haven't absorbed a single word that I've posted. They have more talent at every position, except for one or two, than we do. They have way more depth behind the starters too. Quit deluding yourself. That would have been a tough game even if we had been healthy.
You are correct, I haven’t absorbed a single thing you said. Glad you finally figured that out. it’s not worth absorbing. It’s pure fantasy.Great job at demonstrating that you haven't absorbed a single word that I've posted.
Jackie, Danny and Leach did it.There is no way to mitigate it. There never has been.
Our losses were a bit more expected than those of Texas. And we were blown out twice.Texas and MSU have the same damn record.
I have an Audi. I've never thought of it being on the lower end. I see Bentleys very rarely.I'm not suggesting we are a poverty program at all. We aren't. We undeniably live in a very wealthy neighborhood though. We are the house with the Audi parked in the driveway in a neighborhood where every other house has a Bentley.
Different era, and JWS and Mullen didn't do things that differently.Jackie, Danny and Leach did it.
By doing stuff differently.
I don't either, and that was my point.I have an Audi. I've never thought of it being on the lower end. I see Bentleys very rarely.
No chargers or altimas? Good neighborhood sounds likeI'm not suggesting we are a poverty program at all. We aren't. We undeniably live in a very wealthy neighborhood though. We are the house with the Audi parked in the driveway in a neighborhood where every other house has a Bentley.
Why do you respond to posts when don't actually read them first? It actually explains a lot about you and why you're such a shlt poster. But you might consider a different strategy to keep from looking like a 17ing idiot all the time. You are correct, I haven’t absorbed a single thing you said. Glad you finally figured that out. it’s not worth absorbing. It’s pure fantasy.
In my previous neighborhood, one guy had a Rolls. It wasn't new, but distinctive. Steering wheel was on the wrong side, unless he's delivering mail. Present neighborhood is mostly SUVs of various makes (pretty much like any other place). No chargers or altimas? Good neighborhood sounds like
You will continue to be wrong, the more you try to stay headstrong. You look like an idiot.Different era, and JWS and Mullen didn't do things that differently.
Again that was the point. No chargers or altimas? Good neighborhood sounds like
Oh, I read them. You just assume that everyone would agree with you if they really read your posts. You have a hard time comprehending that that isn't the case. Our problem isn't that we are poor, it's that we aren't as rich as most of the neighborhood we reside in. Money is the problem. A few years ago you could sort of, sometimes, work around the money gap. With NIL and the Portal that is almost impossible now.Why do you respond to posts when don't actually read them first? It actually explains a lot about you and why you're such a shlt poster. But you might consider a different strategy to keep from looking like a 17ing idiot all the time.
I'm not wrong, it's money. You represent the oldYou will continue to be wrong, the more you try to stay headstrong. You look like an idiot.
Let me know when we are 8-4 again.
You might want to look up what they did spend. They always have had money, and now that it's legal they are spending it.....on football. We didn’t do a good job of getting some DL here. That’s where we’ve missed.
Mendoza did a lot for IU last year but their OL and DL were also very, very good and at least last year it wasn’t because they overpaid a bunch of big names everyone wanted.
We all know this, you dumbshlt. Congratulations, you pointed out a problem. Any dicklick can do that.Money is the problem.
It's not just "money".$$,$$$,$$$. There ain’t no shortcuts now. No niche schemecan compensate. It’s all about money now. Some of yall will try to ease your minds hanging a hat on a scheme or a coach….ok….fantasy land stuff.
chargers for a tesla, or the dodge kind?****No chargers or altimas? Good neighborhood sounds like
We have to overpay. It is what it is.It's not just "money".
Money doesn't explain Jordan Seaton going to LSU. We offered him as much or more. We have enough money to compete. There are simply other factors that can't be ignored.
You are old MSU. Is that you Larry? Find the right coach and all our problems will be over. We have been doing that FOREVER. We found him twice in my lifetime, and it still didn't work out long term really. Yoursolution won't work without money now. It's a new world. Your old ways are just that, old.We all know this, you dumbshlt. Congratulations, you pointed out a problem. Any dicklick can do that.
The solution is a little more difficult. So tell me, what's the likelihood of the following scenarios becoming reality:
1) We find our very own Phil Knight;
2) We develop a very specific plan for what type of coaches we hire, what schemes we run and what players we recruit;
3) Some other option.
All I know is 2 and 3 can happen. 1 will not. And that is why your Zima-induced drunk post is stupid.
yes SIR sergeant EVERSMANYou are old MSU. Is that you Larry? Find the right coach and all our problems will be over. We have been doing that FOREVER. We found him twice in my lifetime, and it still didn't work out long term really. Yoursolution won't work without money now. It's a new world. Your old ways are just that, old.
