I posed that question on their Scout board, and here was the reply. Note that while they have six guys committed, they are still talking about adding more to replace the ones who leave for the NBA. The three they are targeting are all in the top six players on Scout's board. They already have commits from the guys rated 3, 4, 10, 18 and 21. Last year's class had players ranked 1, 7, 14 and 48.

Assuming everyone returns we will have 8 players returning on scholarship: (the other players on scholarship are walk-ons and only have a scholarship because we had them to give)

Noel
Hood
Polson
Goodwin
Harrow
Poythress
WCS
WIltjer

Polson was brought in as a walk-on so his scholarship can be pulled if we need room.

We have six players committed right now so assuming everyone returns, UK pulls Polson's scholarship and we don't sign anyone else we will have 13 players on scholarship. I believe that we will lose a couple to the NBA draft, which will open up a couple scholarships for maybe Randle, Wiggins, or Gordon.

Wow thanks for doing that. That is amazing to me. They will most certainly lose 1-4 to the NBA so it will be interesting to see when the replacements (who already are lined up) will sign. It can't be before they declare. Ray should offer Randle, Wiggins and Gordon a package deal and if they want to take it figure out how to get them spots. Can you imagine what the #1,5,6 rated players would do for MSU? They all are 6'8 btw. If Kentucky gets those 3 there will never ever be a better basketball class than this years Kentucky. They will have the #1,3,4,5,6,10,18,21 and a 3*. How the 17 do they not get penalized for that much turnover?

We need letters sitting in mail boxes of UK walk-ons offering scholarships after they are run off.
