Yesterday, not only could I not understand the PA announcer, I could not even hear him.

What happened to The Dudes who were going to make the place a difficult place to play?

Truth!

Perfect weather and we have a less than half full ballpark.

But then again, I guess most folks don't want to spend their weekend watching our batters choke time after time.

Winning solves the fan support, atmosphere problems.

he said that the SEC moving away from saturday double headers would seriously hurt our attendance. And with that goes the atmosphere. It will improve when we get better as we improve though. But I doubt we ever see the atmosphere of the '80s and '90s.

Seriously, you can easily spend 4 hours at the ballpark even for a single game. And the old doubleheaders were only 7 inning games anyway so you're really only losing 5 innings of baseball.

the main reason was so that you could use some Friday pitchers that only threw an inning or two again on Sunday.</p>
