They and Penn State can't be ranked in the Coaches' poll because of post season sanctions. They and Michigan are the only teams in the conference rated in the AP poll though.
Had no clue the coaches would not include them in the poll due to the sanctions.

Indeed. Even though I never liked the Big10 I thought they would be much better than they have showcased so far. Somehow they've fallen below the ACC.
How did Michigan at 3-2 get ranked in the AP this week? I had to study that for a few minutes. I know their two losses were against top 10 teams, but they weren't by any means spectacular in those losses either.
I don't understand the AP poll at all... They're guaranteed to have 1 or 2 choices each week that has me scratching my head. I don't agree with them putting Oregon St. in the top 10 either.
