is the money man/bag man for AU. That would make sense with the way everyone is talking about the tie-in with the casino money and stuff. McGregor owns victory land and supposedly let Cecil "hit the jackpot"

he said that the FBI was investigating the fiasco Milton is in, and something in their investigation flagged them to look in to possible connections.

If you look at the indictments against McGregor and Geddie, 2 of AU's huge boosters, the FBI has apparently been following these guys with surveillance and wire taps. McG was written up in a pro-Victoryland article in "Alabama Business" earlier this year(before the indictment)with a slant about how he got to where he is and how hard he works and so forth. The articletalks about his new hotel and his ongoing fight with Bob Riley. It also says that McG's work ethic is very unusual and it's not uncommon for him to phone an employee or business partner at 3 in the morning when something is on his mind. Said he is constantly on his cell phone.

Now let that digest for just a moment.

The FBI has between 6 to 8 months of recorded conversation of one of Auburn's biggest boosters. How big? He donated 1 million to their new state of the art arena. He also liked to let people visit his "bingo" hall and he would have them play "certain" machines i.e. Larry Langford(B-ham's ex. mayor who's now in Federal prison in Kent).

I've said it before that the Cam thing was just a nugget that feel in the Fed's lap.

if that taped conversation had Mullen saying, "$180k is a little steep. Can we do it for $120k?"

The FBI is not obligated in giving the info the NCAA. In fact they might with hold it while the investigation is going on. Hell it might get surprised for years while they build their case. Who knows. Let's just hope the investigator is a SEC hater. Then it will get turn over real fast.
