We are in week nine and winding down the regular season. Don’t think for one minute that means this week will be any less competitive. Any venue this week in the Battlefield is going to be good! Let’s see what it looks like.
Caroline at Chancellor
Chancellor notched their first W this past week and they did so without having all their starters back. Let’s hope that’s a big change for this week. Caroline had EV and well, you know the results. Don’t let that fool you though. The Cavaliers are a lot better than you think. They will force the Chargers to play harder than they have all year. One thing Caroline will have to overcome though is the fire that got lit in the Chargers on Friday. I just don’t see that happening. Chancellor gets the W!
Courtland vs James Monroe
Game of the week here folks. Get these two teams on the field and records don’t matter! They will play each other at 100% every single play. Probably the hardest game to predict in the entire Battlefield line up. The game is at Courtland and for some reason, I think that will provide enough of an edge. Courtland gets the W but it won’t be easy!
Eastern View Bye week
The Cyclones take the week off. They have two regular season games remaining and then a trip to the playoffs.
King George vs Spotsylvania
This is going to be a dog fight. Spotsy’s Single Wing vs King George’s Wing T. Having seen the Foxes, they have some size. Wait a minute. Let’s make that statement a little more clear. The Foxes have some SIZE! It’s a little young but the next 2-3 years King George is going to give D lines lots of trouble. I may be able to run behind that line. No, please don’t hold me to that. Coach Smith will just laugh. (I hope!) I am really proud of how Spotsy has stepped up their game this year. This week will be tough for both and I have to pick one. I’m going to lean toward the Foxes for one reason. Just a plain gut feeling. King George gets the W.
