Kill the Texas to the Big Ten. This makes it pretty much official that all but A&M are going West and A&M has been given the weekend. Baylor might not get the spot if A&M were to go to the SEC. Pac 10 seems more interested in Utah or Kansas.

A&M President wants SEC. Byrne Sr. wants Pac 10. President could win that battle.

According to the aTm Scout site, their donors are calling Byrne Sr. and the 12th Man Foundation demanding they come to the SEC. If they do come to the SEC, it looks like maybe Baylor takes their spot and goes to the Pac-10. I hope that is the case. I would prefer Mizzou over Baylor if we were to try to drag a second team from the Big-12.

Despite the threats, I doubt Texas drops one of their two biggest games of the year no matter what happens. A&M would get more cash from the SEC, plus they'd be able to recruit on much more equal footing with Texas by offering recruits the chance to play in the SEC. Travel would be infinitely easier, they'd have two already established rivalry games in Arkansas and LSU, they already have close ties with Alabama and Mississippi St. And they'd fit right in with the SEC, while in the PAC 10, they'd always be an outsider.</p>
