Crest physically dominated them,how many point were they averaging again? Two Rings to Cleveland County.
Congratulations to Crest! Both programs should be proud of their accomplishments. But I have to say I was pleased to see Crest win convincingly after those few Havelock fans talked so much smack this week. Crest is the real deal. Great win today

Thank you Crest for making the rest of the West laugh by smacking the East in the face. That win tonight made the last two weeks of Ramnastyhard and his rap videos all worth it.

Everyone talked about Havelocks speed difference.... Well they were fast, but Crests defense absolutely swarmed them all night long
Some made mention of how physical Havelock was.... Well I saw otherwise... Crest had their way with Havelock on both sides of the ball
Crest defense absolutely destroyed Havelock, and anyone that says otherwise is a fool... They hit them harder than I guarantee any of them have been hit all season... I mean every time poor little #3 got the ball (exception one or two plays) he got his cleats darn near knocked off...same for #5...He got leveled and I mean leveled several times at the end there..
Crest just did something to a team that has one three straight championships that no team has in years, and that is absolutely dominate them from start to finish and make them look like an average team
Im not being mean saying any of that, but its the truth... This was absolute and total destruction , and they beat up Havelock ....

Congrats to crest. I think everybody knows how good their team was this year and in no way am I trying to take anything away from them, but I'm just as surprised with havelock doing literally nothing as i am with crest holding them to 3 points. Most, if not all of that total domination was due to crest, but that was just an embarrassing display by havelock. There are probably 20 teams that would have given crest a better game than what havelock put out there. Is eastern 3a football not any good? Crest didnt really have a close game this year except for SP and Shelby. Havelock barely lost to new bern and destroyed everybody else, so I'm having a hard time believing havelock was that good. Like I said crest was very good and I respect crest and they were without question the better team, but havelock flat out laid down and I was shocked how they were never even in the game. I expected a game after all that garbage their fans were talking. To be ranked in the top 3 all year and then get beat down that bad is embarrassing.
Ill say out of my mouth..Crest D is for real....But that Shelby D was right behind them this year....show how good Cleveland Co. Football is...Defense wins championships
As a Havelock fan I will be the first to say congrats. Now with that said I want you to know that the 2 guys RAMNASTY and ramhard are not Havelock fans. The true fans are classy and respectful. You guys deserved the game and just flat out beat us today. Yes, that is one hell of a defense!! We will regroup and be back next year as we also are very young. Again congrats on your title and we hope to see you next year.
How many starters on defense will return next year for Crest? The Charger D should be pretty stout next year also. Congrats Chargers on the title. I believe many of the Havelock fans were a little stunned when their team could not move the ball as they have all year let along score..

Agreed.... well put... I think even #5 at the end of the game dropped the ball on a slant route that would have been an easy score due to possibly hearing footsteps... That was their best shot at scoring even though they were inside the 20 3 different times... The 3 turnovers surely didn't help because they weren't on the field to get any kind of rhythm at all but that is why we play the game and leave the paper test out of it. Shows the mindset and mentality that Crest defense has to make a statement and keep them out of the endzone... I was very impressed at what I saw for sure. Before the game was even over I was convinced that it was one of the best defenses in high school that I'd ever seen. I've followed the Cleveland County schools with the exception of East Lincoln, as I stay on the Eastern side and will say that Havelock was in over their head. They had their way with anyone else with the exception of New Bern every year

with all the transfers coming in from north of Zion Church Rd. over the Christmas break, I expect Crest will probably be big 3AA again next year.
That was a D for the ages.......if teams would have saw that D all year..no teams would have scored on Crest
..people say it was by far the best D.game of the year for Crest

I think most need to stop and think for a moment at what transpired Saturday at 4pm in Raleigh... What Crest defense did to a team with that offense, and make them look like they did has to be one of the most impressive defensive dominate games I have personally ever seen.... Havelock lost two games in what four years, and manhandled every team they faced (save New Bern) and they were beaten up....Completely manhandled.... In the fourth quarter when they pinned their ears back, they were absolutely hammering the Havelock players... It looked like (And I promise I am not being mean) but it looked like Crest was in the 2nd quarter of a game against the Likes of Draughn or East Burke...That's how dominated Havelock was at that point.... Even the Crest offensive line (Which is not getting enough credit, dominated the line of scrimmage against a very very fast Havelock defense) They lined up, said hey Harbison is getting the ball and is running it RIGHT HERE, try and stop it..... No tricks no gimmicks, just gonna run it right at you, and lets see what you got....

Every time Havelock's KR received the ball the Havelock section would scream and go crazy and BOOM! Besides the acrobatic catch, when a Havelock receiver caught the ball BOOM! When Havelock's OLB/WR had a TD catch in the end-zone those two hits from earlier most likely caused him to drop the ball, looking up to see what's coming. Crest played the final the week before vs South Point. I knew Crest D was good, but what they did to Havelock, a high scoring offense loaded with weapons. 3 pts! BOOM!
