OU, Texas, TT all tied for a spot in the conference championship. And the tiebreaker is....BCS ranking? The BCS ranking is heavily influenced by a coaches' poll among other things. Coaches outside the Big 12 have an interest in having the weakest Big 12 team advance. That's a conflict of interest. And the Big 12 inflicted this conflict upon itself.
Plus it is just plain 'weak', for lack of a better word, for a conference to let outsiders break ties within the conference.
Pathetic. That tiebreaker rule is the kind of pansy stuff I'd expect from the Big Ten. I expect better from the Big 12.
