1st and 2nd, noone out, 0-0 game. We bunt Renfroe, he pops out. Sam Frost, the hottest hitter on our team steps to the plate. We try to steal third with our catcher. Out 2. Then, on a SEPARATE play, we try to steal second. Out 3. Guess who gets a leadoff hit the next inning? Frost. If we don't play that inning full retard, and get at least one run, i guarantee the game is different.

Edited to add: I'm tired of giving the other team outs. Everyone on our team outside of Rea has decent wheels. Let them swing.

your Saturday starter just doesn't have it. Today, for example, we had 3 errors in the field by like the 4th inning and that is not that unusual. I know we have some young guys but do you HAVE to be a junior or senior to make routine plays in the field?

Im not sure what it will take for Cohen to comprehend this but the sac bunting **** needs to stop espcially as we have proven that we 17 it up more times than not. Rea, Renfroe, Porter, Slauter, and Norris should never bunt EVER. CT Frazier and Frost should only bunt for hits.

Britton can sac because he is going to get out anyway, but he should be riding the bench in place of Henderson, who can bunt for hits only.

We are a very mediocre team 4 years into his tenure which is baffling and an awful sign. Cohen has had a good number of transfers and whiffs, we should not be an average team in year 4.

I would think Stratton is your highest rated junior, but beyond him, who are your stud sophomores that are potentially top 5 round picks in 2013.

and players we've lost JUST in trying to stretch singles into doubles. Hey when you get thrown out at second trying to stretch a single into a double WHEN YOU ARE DOWN 6-0 that's a good sign that you are being too aggressive. You don't risk giving away outs when you just desparately need baserunners.

Polk was stubborn as hell. He rarely bunted no matter if the situation called for it. Cohen is equally stubborn. He will bunt in the 1st inning with the three hole hitter who leads the team in hitting.

As far as general management goes, Polk was extremely laid back. It almost looked like he didn't give a ****. But, we all knew he did.Cohen is the exact opposite. He is a psycho hose beastbefore, during, and after games. Everyone gets in a slump at the plate. It's a hell of a lot easier getting out of one when your coach isn't breathing down your neck. Everyone makes errors, sometimes even mental errors. It's a hell of a lot easier not making another one when your coach ignores it or tells you not to worry about it. However, there has to be some accountability. With Polk, it didn't seem we had that.

Cohen needs to chillax, just a little. It's obvious guys are pressing. These guys didn't make these same errors in highschool (Britton, I'm looking at you). Also, stop sending runners home when the first baseman has the ball inhis glove. Stop trying to steal3rd with your catcher. Do it every now and then...but when the other team expects you to be super aggressive they are going to be ready for it when it happens. A good coach/manager picks when to take their chances and picks the right time to do so.
