Whether you believe Turner or Stans (I believe Stans), the bottom line is that yet again, we will have 1, and maybe 2, contributing players who won't play their full eligibility. And that all falls on Stans. I think Turner is being a giant douchebag about this and this was more a matter of, like Stans said, him forcing Stans into this decision. And I don't beleive for a second that this caught him by surprise at all. But Stans has got to be more selective in the character of the guys he recruits and/or has got to do a better job of handling his players' egos once they get here.

...Once again we'll hear the "we're young" excuse when that is totally's stansbury's fault. And I refuse to believe our players have any less character than anybody else. Rick just cannot handle his team. I am ready for this to end. This has gotten beyond ridiculous.

If Stansbury does not win this season, it's all on him. The talent has been there and, in many ways, is there more than ever this season (especially if Bost is reinstated). I fully support Rick Stansbury headed into 2011, but if we don't make a run for the conference crown and lock up a bid for the NCAA Tournament, I'll be climbing the fence.
