The biggest thing about our basketball team right now besides the...

obvious talent is that we have our lineup figured out. Stansbury is not doing the 4 person lineup change. It's just nice to see - we actually have some thought with our substitution patterns.

One other thing - the freshmen are living up to the hype.

Everyone brings something different to the table, yes, even the Fat Bastard. But if we can get that kind of effort from the team every night, we've got a chance to be very good. Stansbury has to get some credit for changing a few things around. We have been up and down some, but not nearly as up and down as we have been in the past, especially when we used to make mass substitutions.

This is a good team, and they deserve credit for beating 2 Top 20 teams by a combined 19 points. These are two solid wins, and they are going to look good come tournament time.

And you are right, these freshmen are going to be solid contributors. They disrupt things, and they make you look at them to see what they are doing, especially Deville. That baseline turnaroundwith the backside layup was a thing of beauty. I love the way he plays. </p>

These last 2 Ws weren't due to getting hot hand and draining a bunch of 3s. We are playing good old fashioned Buryball of yesteryear. Good defense. Good rebounding. Scrappy play. Balanced scoring. The last 2 years we **cough**fishwater**cough** lived and died by the three. I don't see that being our only option this year. We actually can bang around a bit and get physical. I actually have hope for the first time in a couple of years. My biggest concern is shooting. I think we are going to see a lot of teams zone us. That may gives us some fits, but we'll cross that bridge when it happens.

because I've been saying for years that his line changing strategy has killed us over the years. We would have double digit leads against inferior opponents and Stans would sub in the next platoon, only to see that double digit lead turn into a deficit. I never understood it. Why he never subbed out one, maybe two, at a time was just ridiculous. It as if he used all OOC's as scrimmage contests, to mix and match the team like Oregon does their Uni's.

Glad to finally see some young guys stepping up and looking like upper classmen. These two wins are big, but I've been watching and attending games too long to grow any wool just yet. Maybe some stubble will appear after the WVU matchup.

It feels good seeing this team win the way they have been, but I be damned... I'm having a hard time holding to my "not occupy the hump" movement since this team is actually playing, and I'm a sucker for good basketball.

is talented players willing to accept a role other than "God of the Universe". It seemed that even Sydney was active in cheer leading when he was on the bench. If we actually have this much talent and they are focused on winning instead of being the superstar then we will have a good year.

get excited and realize at the next Stansbury unexplained loss - I'll call for his ouster. Then rinse and repeat thru the season leading to Stansbury's first Sweet 16 in his coaching career.

Not lineups, not coaching. <div>
</div><div>You can read it in the box score - we exposed Arizona down low. ****, we didn't even shoot the 3 ball well at all and still blew them out. That's all we had in recent years, and our biggest player had been Varnado for the most part, all 150 lbs. of him</div>
